Chairman – Andrew Tassell (Keith): Andrew 
has been keeping bees for about ten years and is a long-standing member of the Committee having served as President and Secretary in the past. He runs two apiaries of ten hives that he keeps in 14″ x 12″ Smith hives. Andrew has passed the SBA Basic Beemasters Exam and modules one and two were completed in 2009. Secretary – Tony Harris (Fochabers): Tony
took possession of his first swarm in 2006 and has built up to 30 colonies of bees, hived in the traditional Scottish Smith hive, in various apiaries in Moray. Tony is also the Association Apiary Manager/Co-ordinator and is currently heading up our Queen rearing and bee-breeding project. Treasurer – Donna Clark (Lhanbryde) : Donna Clark is an enthusiastic, albeit novice beekeeper, having obtained her first colony of bees in 2010. She has a background as a laboratory technician and is currently conducting a research project for Moray Beekeepers/Moray College, looking at honeybee morphometry, in relation to the search for the British black bee, and any varroa tolerance that may be evident. tel – 01343 843072
Andrew Watson (Carnie) : Based near Huntly, is in his second full season as a beekeeper and he has 2 colonies of bees in National hives. tel – 01466 760277
